Pagan

Having first taken up Yoga at university, Pagan continued to practice it at particularly
challenging times in her career; Culminating in a life changing influence on both her personal
and professional life which in time led to immersing herself fully in the yogic path both for her
own health benefits and for the health of her young family. A complete change of lifestyle and
focus followed and she has been running and teaching Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness
events, workshops, classes and retreats in London and abroad.
Her initial training was under Simon Low and The Yoga Academy in 2004 and continuing to
deepen and broaden her original Hatha Yoga by training with Shiva Rea in London. This was
followed by the sublimely, beautiful Restorative Yoga training under Judith Hanson Lasater and later
this flowed naturally into a deeper more meditative practice. Pagan’s Yin Yoga and Insight
meditation training flowered under Sarah Powers and continued under consistent guidance and
training with Norman Blair for several years, another hugely inspiring teacher and influence on
her practice as a whole. Pagan deeply believes in the power of Yin Yoga and meditation and
its ability to support the body and mind towards a greater sense of ease and acceptance.
Choosing to enquire more fully into meditation, Pagan has studied with numerous meditation
masters such as Christine Feldman, Alan Wallace and Jon Kabat Zinn, including an 8 week
MBSR programme under Dr Caroline Hoffmann and Mindfulness Yoga with the Integrative
Yoga Therapy school. Having recently finished an 18 month training in Meditation, Eastern
Philosophy and Pyschology with Inside Meditation, Pagan believes all these various influences
have helped to inform her teaching and to make her classes inclusive, mindful and always
playful. Honouring and listening to our body and breath, learning to move with ease and
grace.

I retrained as an aromatherapist in 2019 and set up my aromatherapy business soon after. I handmake aromatherapy candles, body oils, massage blends, room sprays and more in my workshop in Chipping Norton. The botanicals I use are organic, and wild crafted where possible.
Aromatherapy draws information from science and the arts. The science of aromatherapy includes anatomy, chemistry, and botany. From a more artistic point of view when blending, I take into account the plant parts and their energy, my intuition, creativity, and connect it all to the needs of my client. For example, essential oils that come from the leaves of trees and plants are beneficial for respiratory conditions. When blended with a relaxing heart centred oil the synergistic combination is powerful in easing the flow of the breath and calming the nervous system.
Smell connects straight to the memory bank and emotion centre of the brain – the limbic system. The limbic system establishes emotional states, so your overall mood can be affected by smell. There are two main routes of absorption for botanical oils: inhalation and skin. In a healing aroma touch massage, I use both methods to help relieve stress and to focus on any areas of tension or discomfort, whilst creating a beautiful aromatic environment.
I offer aroma touch massage therapy at Atelier 8 in Stow on the Wold.

Massage Therapist.
Massage offers so many natural health benefits and is a fantastic way to relax, to feel more in tune and balanced with ourselves away from the day to day. It’s often when we receive massage treatment we find that our muscles are tight or how much of our energy is consumed by tension and occupational strains. Touch is an instinctive language and being a therapist is hugely rewarding. I am constantly evolving my practice and treatments and thoroughly enjoy helping people find time for calmness, re connection and renewed vitality.
I am a keen advocate of natural products and use local organic oils and organic products for all my treatments.
– Carefully curated massage and deep tissue treatments.
– Appointments available Thursdays and during the weekend by appointment.

I am a Core Process Psychotherapist with an MA in Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy from Karuna Institute in Devon. Over the past 10 years I have been based in London working in person with clients as well as online with non-London based and international clients. As I have partially moved to Stow over the past year, I am now also available to see clients from Atelier 8 on Friday/Saturday/Monday most weekends.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in private equity for 20 years supporting entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. My interest in yoga, meditation, and Buddhist philosophy led me into retraining as a mindfulness-based psychotherapist. If you would like to learn more about Core Process Psychotherapy and how I work, please take a look at my website www.flytofreedom.co.uk
I am also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders.

I use my wealth of experience of being a Therapist for over 20 years and I tailor my sessions to my client’s needs by using Reflexology, NLP/Intuitive tools, Theta Healing/The Journey/ Feldenkrais Method & Silent Counselling. I also had the great privilege of studying with the amazing Christie Marie Sheldon in Chicago & L.A.
Recently I have started working in schools again and as I did Reflexology with the pupils before on a one to one basis, I now do Silent Counselling with the children in groups & on a one to one basis, which has proven to be very easy tools to learn for the children, with quick & effective results, which has surprised us all, teachers, staff & me.
For the last few years, I have also been teaching workshops on my own & with my dear friend and colleague Nigel Lowson, who is a retired Deputy Head. Our theme for these workshops included: Abundance, Enneagram, Language of Love, Effective Communications and many more. We so enjoy running these workshops together, which is why we are planning many more.

Sound healing is ancient art that has been practiced for thousands of years to support the body to detox, energise and heal.
A Prana Sanctuary sound bath is an immersive, holistic experience that can bring balance, relaxation, and a sense of calm to your whole being. Using therapeutic singing bowls specially designed for human body, along with the pure tones of crystal bowls we can clear discordant frequencies so the body is able to harmonise back into its natural vibrational state.
Clients receive both a sonic audible experience and a vibrational experience that is extremely beneficial and healing both on the physical and mental levels. Clients are left feeling a profound sense of relief, emotionally balanced and centred.
Prana Sanctuary, founded by sound healers, meditation and advanced yoga teachers Simon & Jo Fellows, aims to empower you to discover your peace within. Jo is also a Reiki Master/Teacher.
